Mont Saint Michel, France. Wow.
I long to travel the world, experience new, different cultures, realize first-hand that there's more to the earth than America. Oh, and lug a camera to all these places. Yes, I have a rather strong case of fernweh. Wanderlust, farsickness, whatever you wish to call it, my life won't be complete until I've found the fulfillment of the desire contained in these words. But for now, I must be content to gaze at these gorgeous photographs, planning my gypsy future. Which I will have sometime, by the way. Maybe for a few years after college. Or maybe when my children-to-be are all grown up, and I'm a millionaire. I'll hop from country to country on a whim. I'll say, "Oh, I'm just going to pop on over to Paris for the weekend," just as I would say that I was making a trip to the grocery store.
Yes. Someday.
