To me,(as well as many other photographers) a rainy day is not a depressing sort of day at all! Actually, it's one of my favorite photographing weathers, because the miniscule rain drops falling on plants and other objects are a most beautifully photogenic, as are grey cloud backdrops.

merely because it's fun.
I love experimenting with intentional lens-vibration--it's especially fun to do with light-spangled trees. It's even more beautiful when the trees have turned their fall colors, but apparently here in the south they don't do that for a little while yet. I miss home, New England, can you tell?
